Presenting...Clan Silent Eternity on XFire

Why, hello there fellow SilentEternians,
You can probably tell from the title what this is about. Some of you will be thinking "Teh Fu?" others, "Cool" and even "Why XFire?"
Well both Yuii have been talking a lot about this on TeamSpeak and have finally come to the conclusion of basing Clan Silent Eternity, [C.SE], on XFire.
"What's wrong with using TeamSpeak?"
Whilst TeamSpeak offers the option for voice chatting, text chatting and even file sharing, It doesn't really cater for the needs of a clan. This does not mean we will cease to use it, TeamSpeak has been an important part of many of our friendships and we would still like to continue using it as Silent Eternity's Social server. XFire is capable of sychronising with TeamSpeak but we'll go into that later.
"Why not use Steam? Some of us are already using it.."
Granted, Steam is probably XFire's biggest contender, It is good in it's own right. However, Steam is based on many separate windows and fancy effects, this often causes a lot of problems for people's computers. XFire uses one main app for everything and runs on less CPU usage. As with most apps, it's IM convos are a separate box. We know that some, if not most, of you are already using Steam, we are not saying that you will have to stop using Steam (it's your PC after all  ) we are just stating that if you wish to be a part of Clan SE then XFire is what we will be using for coordination of the Clan.
What about games from Steam? How will we be able to Play them with XFire?
It's not the case of using XFire to play the games, but using XFire with the games. XFire offers Game Logging, In-game chat and the ability to join a friend's server with the click of a button. XFire also has something called Pro Voice. Pro Voice, along with the previous offers mentioned, are all usable with games supported by XFire. It has high definition sound for crisp communication and it's run on a free sever hosted by XFire. We have already checked for the games many of us, on TS, have played together. XFire supports them all 
"Ok, so what's the catch?"
The catch? If you mean price, then let me inform you that there is none. XFire is absolutely free since it is sponsored by some of the biggest names in the gaming industry.
I suppose the only catch would be that you have to download the Client/App. But don't worry I will post the specs for it here
System Requirements
PC with a Pentium processor running Windows XP, 2000, Vista, or 7
10 MB available hard drive space recommended
Desktop resolution of 800 x 600 at 256 colors (1024 x 768 at 16 bit color or higher recommended)
Internet Explorer 5.0 with Service Pack 1 or higher
Internet connection (broadband recommended)
Additional Requirements for Xfire In-Game:
DirectX 9.0c or higher
Video Driver that supports DirectX 9.0c
NOTE: XFire cannot be used by Mac or Linux users. For the moment it is only usable with Windows. They are planning to include other operating systems in the future.
"Great, where do I sign up?
Before downloading the Client, I suggest you register first. It'll make your life easier that way. You can register here at: http://www.xfire.com/register
Once you've registered and sorted out your profile, add me as a friend: kalasalseif. You'll notice that you can't do any fancy writing or letters to begin with, however, once you've registered you will be able you modify it.
After you've added me as a friend I will accept and invite you into the Clan. If Yurlyn is online he will do the same. If neither of us are online (Unlikely) apply to join the Clan and you will be accepted as soon as either of us are online.

TeamSpeak + XFire
How do I join a friend in Teamspeak or Ventrilo from Xfire?
Currently, Xfire supports two voice chat programs, Teamspeak and Ventrilo. You can download these programs here:
Teamspeak
Ventrilo
Once you get them installed, run Xfire and Teamspeak and/or Ventrilo should appear in your Launch list just like a game would.
Teamspeak and Ventrilo have “one click join” support through Xfire. So if you have a Friend already in a Teamspeak or Ventrilo chat server, right click their name and select Join Teamspeak (or Join Ventrilo). You can also get this menu by going to Tools | Friends | Join Teamspeak or the Actions menu in a chat window.
If the Join option is greyed out, there is no IP address showing. Make sure you or your Friend talks for about 10-20 seconds in order for Xfire to see the network traffic to the TS/Vent server. Also check the Xfire Tools | Options | Privacy menu and make sure you have "Show my voice chat server to my friends" checked.

RedHand Release Date

Sorry to make this annoying announcement. I just wanted to give you guys an estimate for when I'm going to release this thing, its been so long too.
The current release date i have is mid/late June or early July if everything keeps going smoothly.
